Its no secret that my family and I travel a lot by car. We seem to always be traveling somewhere, whether its a day trip to the Bay Area or a weekend trip to Disneyland, we’re always on the go!
When we are traveling for longer than 3 hours at a time, I prefer to travel either at night or early morning, so that the kids sleep. Why? Well, for one, when they are sleeping they are not crying! Other reasons include stops to eat which then leads to frequent stops to use the restroom. And when you have a baby in diapers and a toddler who is little miss independent, and wants to use the potty all by herself, this easily becomes a germaphobe’s worse nightmare.
I’m going to show you that you don’t have to worry any more about those nasty pit stops (for the little ones anyway!). Today I’m showing you all how we handle diaper changes and toddler potty breaks while on the road!
2. Potty Chair
I initially threw the potty chair in the back of my car when I first started potty training Isabella. I figured, better safe than sorry… and now months in, I’m not sure that I will ever remove it. LOL We have used this chair many, many times. And not just during our long road trips, but also while out and about in town. If there is one thing any mama of a potty training little one knows, its that when your toddler says they need to go now, they need to go RIGHT NOW.
3. Nuby Diaper Sacks
Because sometimes, poop happens and when poop happens, it gets smelly!
