After searching high and low on Pinterest, I came up with little to nothing for DIY Valentine’s Day Cards that were toddler approved. This became a bit of a problem for us last week when my 3 year old and I started working on her DIY Valentine’s Day cards for her friends. These cards contained smaller pieces that were just not suitable for my little man (he is always putting EVERYTHING in his mouth!) so he was pretty upset about not being able to participate.
That’s when I decided that we would create our own toddler approved DIY Valentine’s Cards using Nuby Little Squirts Bath Toys!
The best part about these Toddler Approved DIY Valentine’s Day Cards is that they are incredibly easy to put together, even with two anxious toddlers wanting to help!
Materials Needed:
- Nuby Little Squirts Bath Toys
- Cardstock
- Washi Tape
- Letter Stamps
Instructions:
Use your washi tape to secure each Nuby Squirt Toy to your cardstock and stamp your message! Easy peasy!
If you prefer not to have the messy look of the stamps, you can easily print out your cards as well. This will give you a more unified look and save you some time. I personally loved the character given to each card using the hand stamps, and my kids really enjoyed helping with them as well! If you have the patience and the time, I suggest giving it a try with your children, they will love it!
Looking for some fun sayings to go along with the Nuby Little Squirts Bath Toys? I’ve listed a few for you below!
Shark: You Are a Jaw-Some Friend!
Duck: I’m One Lucky Duck To Call You My Friend!
Elephant: I Like You Tons!
Penguin: Valentine, You Are Too Cool!

I love these. So simple, and so cute.
My favorite thing received for Valentine’s Day (although not when I was a child) was when I was working at the elementary school my brother went to (he’s 15 years younger than me) and he sent me a “cookie graham”. Love it and still have the letter he sent with it!
This is such a great idea! I love it!
Wow!! These are sooo cute and personable, but yet easy.

Awww “you octopi my heart” is my favorite!
My favorite thing that I received for Valentine’s day: The first bouquet of flowers my husband sent me on our first Valentine’s Day when we were dating. I love that man of mine. He is still my favorite Valentine.
