I got very personal on my last post, toasting my husband with an open letter for his birthday. While his birthday has come and gone, we managed to get in a late celebration at Wente Vineyards over the weekend. We don’t get out much without the kids anymore so this was an extra special treat for us and we had such an amazing time!
Wente Vineyards and Hand Made Events hosted the sold out “White Party in the Vineyard” in celebration of National Chardonnay Day. Guests were asked to dress in all white (as a nod to chardonnay) and were treated to white wine, delicious food, live music and good company.
My husband and I are already big fans of the Wente Morning Fog and Riva Ranch Chardonnay’s – and now we are big fans of their Pinot Noir Rose as well. Its light, not too sweet and amaaaazing!
I had never been to a “white party” (or a party in general at a vineyard before) and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The setting was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect. Everyone seemed to have a great time mingling and even more so once the band (Reverend Tall Tree) got started on stage!
Check out the video below to get a taste of all the fun that took place!
If Wente decides to make this an annual event at their vineyard, you can definitely sign us up for next years party!
If you are not familiar with Wente Vineyards, you can learn more by visiting their website and check out their white wine selection while you are there. Also be sure to check them out on Facebook and let them know that your friend Nicole sent you!
