As some of you may know, Isabella started her first year of Preschool a couple weeks ago. She only goes part time, but wow, what a difference it is at home without her. Giovanni misses her terribly, but I think he also kind of enjoys being able to play with whatever he wants while she is away. ?
In the days leading up to school, we did some back to school shopping. Bella is now at the age where she wants to have a say in what she wears. This means that 99.999% of the time you will find her in a dress. And not just any dress, she has standards. ?? The dress must be twirl worthy, have some shade of pink or “cool” design and it must not be itchy (there is no exception to this last standard, no matter how cute the dress is).
I must admit, although her pickiness is a bit of a pain, I get it. When I get dressed for the day, I want to wear clothes that make me feel good and keep me comfortable. This is why I love Mitz Accessories.
Mitz Accessories carries clothing for infants, toddlers and kids and was designed to tackle negative gender stereotypes. They aim to make clothing for kids that is fun and educational, but most importantly, clothing that makes them feel good about themselves! Mitz Accessories wants children to feel empowered, strong and proud of who they are and what they are wearing. Their gender equal clothing is not only adorable, but also incredibly soft. The Must Love Dinosaurs design (as shown above) is my absolute favorite! Both the dress and the tee feature black felt spikes that go down the back and comfortably fold over when sitting. My kids really get a kick out of pretending to be dinosaurs while wearing this design and several of our friends have expressed interest in buying these designs for their own children.
Bella loves all her new dresses from Mitz but she is really into Wonder Woman right now so this Superheroes Comic Book design is one of her favorites and I love watching her feeling “super” while she is wearing it!
Gio thinks that its pretty cool that he has designs on his shirts that he recognizes. He loves to have us ask him “where is the spoon?” or “where is the whisk” so that he can proudly point them out to us when he is wearing his Blue Baking T-Shirt.
Are you finding these designs as adorable as we are? You’ll be happy to hear that Mitz Accessories is currently having a huge sale right now where you can save up to 30% off your favorite designs!
