My nephew recently turned 21 and I was determined to get him a “cool” 21st birthday gift. Of course, as usual, I didn’t give myself very much time to do so. In fact, it wasn’t until the morning of his party that I actually started brainstorming… talk about procrastination!
I considered doing a birthday beer cake, but that’s something I’ve already done in the past and I was hoping to create something new, and something new I did! Let me present to you, my DIY Birthday Beer Pong Kit!
- Place each item into the cooler. I started with the red solo cups, ping pong balls and then the beer.
- Depending on the depth of your cooler, you may need to line the bottom of the beer with tissue paper.
- Add your “21” numbers. I taped them to kabob sticks and stuck them through the tissue paper that lined the bottom of the cooler to keep them in place.
- Add your tissue paper and decorative ribbon or bow.
Now you have a quick and easy DIY birthday gift that any 21 year old would LOVE – the associate at Target assured me of that when I questioned my vision… LOL
