My family and I have been Annual Passholder’s to Disneyland for about two years now. One of the most frequent questions we get from friends and family, is where do we stay when we go. To be honest, we kind of bounce around and are always trying out new hotels in the area. Our favorite hotels are definitely those within walking distance to Disneyland.
During our last Disney visit, we lucked out and were able to book a room at the Park Vue Inn. This hotel is in a prime location – literally right across the street from the Disneyland entrance! It also just happens to be a budget friendly hotel, typically about $100 cheaper than others nearby AND if you are a returning customer, they offer you an additional returning customer savings.
What we love about the Park Vue Inn:
Price. They are always priced lower than their neighboring hotels.
Location, location, location! Being across the street from Disney has its perks. It also happens to be sandwiched between iHop and Dennys. Hungry anyone?
Large, clean rooms. Their double queen offers more than enough room for our family and leaves plenty of room for our double stroller. If you have a family of 5 I’d suggest the double queen with bunkbeds. Its a bit larger and keeps you from feeling cramped.
They have a small pool/spa area. Though we have never utilized it during our stays, we know its there if we need it.
Gift Shop on property.
What we don’t love:
You can hear the outside traffic (in the parking lot) from basically any room you stay in. Its not horrible, but of course, it varies stay to stay.
You need to book at least a month in advance. We have gotten lucky by calling in two weeks prior, but typically they will already be booked.
Overall, if you are simply looking for a budget and family friendly hotel to stay at while visiting the parks, I’d 100% recommend the Park Vue Inn.
