If you have a toddler, likely you have a picky eater on your hands. I was lucky for some time with my youngest. For about a year he would eat anything and everything I put on his plate. These days, getting him to eat something mom-approved for breakfast is a challenge.
During our last shopping trip at our local Safeway, we came across our favorite Happy Baby and Happy Tot yogurt pouches which gave me a new breakfast idea that I was sure my kids would love. Healthy breakfast smoothies!
The recipe is simple! All you need is spinach, almond milk and half a frozen banana and your favorite Happy Baby Whole Milk Yogurt or your favorite Happy Tot Whole Milk Yogurt flavor. Simply blend all the ingredients together and voilà! Breakfast is served!
Ingredients:
HappyBaby Whole Milk Yogurt Cup
1 cup of spinach
1/2 cup of your favorite milk
1/2 frozen banana
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in the blender on high for 1 minute, serve chilled.
My recipe is simple and filled with nutritious ingredients such as the Happy Baby and Happy Tot Milk Yogurt Pouches. I learned about these new pouches about a month ago and have had them as a continuous item on our grocery list. I love that there is no added sugar to the pouches and that they are non-GMO. They are also made with organic milk, mindfully made with probiotics and are loaded with calcium and vitamin D!
When we’re not using the pouches in our breakfast smoothies, they kids are eating them as their snack (both in and out of school). It’s safe to say, we are obsessed!
What is your go-to trick to make sure your picky toddler’s are eating healthy?
Such a great way to get some nutrition into those picky eaters!
I’ll have to try this recipe..my kids are so picky!
oh yum!! I’m going to try to this with my 11 year old!!
My girls would absolutely love that smoothie and we love that yogurt!
My girl loves packing her own snacks for school and always chooses a pouch!
My kids are loving these toddler yogurts! We have two packs in our fridge now!
We make a smoothie very similar to yours but for our boys! They are sooo picky and refuse to eat anything green, so this mama sneaks it into their drinks!
I might even try this for myself! Lol. But yes, my toddler has become super picky… I wonder if this would be a go for her.
