With both my younger children now in school, mornings tend to get a little crazy around here. Between getting the kids ready, feeding them breakfast and making sure they have everything they need for the day (like school lunches), there isn’t much time for me to get drop off ready.
Thankfully, as a stay-at-home mom, my everyday wardrobe is pretty casual. As casual as it may be, I do still like to change out of my pajamas before I walk out the door to take my kids to school. I don’t know about you, but I can’t take those disapproving looks from the moms who appear to have their act together better than I do! So how do I look presentable after giving all of my time and effort to my little ones in the morning? I reach for my favorite pair of leggings, a cute crop sweater and the comfiest pair of running shoes I own.
On the days when I am in an extra hurry and have zero time to put a brush to my hair, I simply add a hat to cover up that mama bed head!
This outfit creates the perfect “fake it until you make it” outfit, and allows you to run to the grocery store or go for a coffee date after dropping off the kiddos without being embarrassed about your appearance!
